Emily is Gurr Johns’ Director for Contemporary Art. She works with both private and institutional clients advising on acquisitions, sales, valuations, and collection management.
Emily has worked in the primary art market for the past fifteen years, working for galleries such as Pace, White Cube and more recently the New Art Centre. She has worked with many blue-chip artists including Antony Gormley, Adrian Ghenie, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Edmund de Waal. Notable estates have included the Calder Foundation and the Barbara Hepworth estate.
Emily joined Gurr Johns in 2023 and is based in our London office. She is a trustee of the State Ceramics charity.
